About OpOrd

Founder-led. Verification-first.

OpOrd runs month-end billing for commercial subcontractors: the waiver requests, the follow-ups, the checks and the packages. You keep the decisions and the signature.

John Vaughan

Founder, OpOrd

OpOrd is founded by John Vaughan. His background in engineering and operations shapes a simple approach to recurring work: understand the process, make responsibilities explicit, and verify every handoff.

Month-end billing is exactly that kind of work. Every pay app depends on a dozen small handoffs — a PM’s numbers, a supplier’s waiver, a GC’s form — and one missed handoff can hold the whole draw. OpOrd exists to run those handoffs on a schedule, check each one, and leave the owner with a package to review rather than a week to chase.

This is a founder-led business. The first engagements are run by John Vaughan directly, which is why we take on a limited number at a time.

How we work

Three rules we don’t bend.

Make it explicit.

Who owes which document, on which form, for which pay period, by which date. Written down, not remembered.

Verify every handoff.

Each returned waiver is checked for type, through-date, amount and signature before it goes in a package.

You decide.

Nothing is signed, submitted or waived without you. We prepare; you approve. Lien law stays with your attorney.
